Tomb of Kheruef; Royal Steward in the court of Amenhotep III. Evidently, Kheruef was a man of some importance at the height of his career - he was a Royal Scribe and First Herald to the King, he was later appointed Steward to Queen Tiye.

This tomb, however, was not finished and Kheruef was probably never buried here - it appears that Khereuf suffered a fall from grace before his death, his name in the tomb has been excised - the reason for this fall from grace is not known.
