The Mummy of Sethnakhte
20th Dynasty
The Body in the
boat - thought to be Sethnakhte, which had been plundered very
soon after his intial burial - the resin used in his mummification
proceedure had sealed him to this boat where the robbers had
thrown him.
Visitors
to the tomb were still able to gaze upon these remains some 10
years after the tomb was opened to the public.
