The Mummy and coffin of Ramesses IV

Length of Coffin : 1.76 metres

Height of coffin : 0.34 metres

The coffin dates to the 20th Dynasty, but is of poor quality. The coffin is painted white all-over, the only decoration is from the inscription giving the names and titles of the king (the arms on the coffin hold symbols of Osiris and Isis).

Height of body : 1.604 metres

 The mummy was found still wrapped in a shroud which had the name of the Ramesses IV. The mummy is well preserved, but the age ot death is not known.
