The Coffin and mummy of Pinudjem II

Pinudjem II was buried in DB320, the mummy and coffin of Pinudjem II has survived the attentions of any robbers. The mummification method is typical of the period - the body having a 'plump' appearance due to the packing added to the body at the time of mummification.

Height of the body 1.706 metres

The coffins and coffin board were originally made for Pinudjem II, each is covered with funerary scenes as well as gilding (gilded hands hold the emblems of the God Osiris and the Goddess Isis).
