A very shadowy figure - the
picture shows one of the few inscriptions of him:
The Stela of Nakhtnebtepnefer (Intef
III) from Wadi Shaft el-Rigal.
Mentuhotep II is shown twice the
height of that of the other figures - including that of Intef
III, this may be mean to show that Mentuhotep II was greater
than his predecessor.
Also shown are Mentuhotep II's
mother (Queen Iah), standing behind him, and also the Chancellor
